Turkish champions Bursaspor have signed Damián Steinert for an undisclosed fee from Racing Club de Avellaneda.
The forward has penned a three-year contract and becomes the second Argentinian to arrive at Bursaspor during pre-season following the capture of Federico Insúa last month. The 24-year-old Steinert, who can also play on either flank, spent five years at Newell's Old Boys, winning the Apertura in 2004 before finding first-team chances limited following a move to Racing Club in 2009.
"I have enjoyed title success while playing for Newell's Old Boys and I want to relive this feeling," said Steinert, who will also team up with countrymen Pablo Batalla and Leonardo Iglesias. "Their presence is an advantage for me. They will help me adapt easily and quickly." Bursaspor enter the UEFA Champions League in the group stage.
