UEFA and FIFA have issued the following statement related to UEFA president Michel Platini:
UEFA president Michel Platini was released at 9am on Saturday morning from the Johannesburg hospital in which he had been admitted on Friday evening after feeling unwell.
All the medical tests conducted were normal and Mr Platini is looking forward to attending Sunday's 2010 FIFA World Cup final at Soccer City Stadium.
