The suspension of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Football Federation (NFSBiH) has been lifted with immediate effect.
With confirmation having been received from the NFSBiH general secretary that the new NFSBiH statutes were duly adopted by the general assembly at its meeting in Sarajevo on 26 May, and that they are now in compliance with FIFA and UEFA requirements, the condition for lifting the suspension of this federation has been met.
In application of the current UEFA Statutes, UEFA President Michel Platini called on the UEFA Emergency Panel to lift this suspension. Accordingly, at its meeting in London on 28 May, the UEFA Emergency Panel decided to lift the suspension of the NFSBiH with immediate effect. Subsequent to the UEFA Emergency Panel decision, the FIFA Executive Committee confirmed the lifting of the ban on the NFSBiH at its meeting today in Zurich.
Consequently, the NFSBiH can immediately start playing friendly and official matches again at national team and club levels, and NFSBiH officials and representatives can participate again in any UEFA match or event.
