RC Lens have strengthened their squad ahead of their UEFA Intertoto Cup campaign by signing defenders Vitorino Hilton, Eric Cubilier and Nicolas Gillet.
Brazilian signs
Brazilian Hilton joins from SC Bastia on a five-year contract, while Cubilier has signed a one-year deal with the option to extend for a further two years after leaving AS Monaco FC.
Carrière capture
Gillet, who made 130 league starts for FC Nantes Atlantique in seven years, has put pen to paper on a contract that will keep him at Lens until 2007. The treble signing follows the capture of Olympique Lyonnais playmaker Eric Carrière earlier this month.
