The world of futsal is mourning the death of Slov-Matic Bratislava owner Martin Grendár.
A pioneer of futsal in Slovakia, Grendár's club have won nine straight league titles since their first in 2004/05, becoming regulars in the UEFA Futsal Cup. He formed the club along with his brother Peter in January 1984, their 'FOFO' nickname coming from Fanatic Oranjes Futsal Organisation, as well as backing the Slovakian national team.
The club website wrote: "We lost the man, who dedicated to futsal not just his whole life, but also his whole heart."
Slov-Matic are competing in UEFA Futsal Cup main round Group 6 from Thursday in Hungary and will wear black armbands in memory of Grendár.
