Later this month FC Barcelona will look to successfully defend the UEFA Futsal Cup they won at the first attempt last year at home in Lleida – Spain's sixth success in 12 runnings of the competition.
As Barcelona prepare to travel to Tblisi to meet Kairat Almaty in the semi-finals on 26 April, with a possible rematch with MFK Dinamo to follow if both win that night, UEFA.com speaks to Torras, Fernandão and Sergio Lozano about their success in 2012 – beating the Russian side 3-1 to lift the trophy.
Torras, defender
It's true that we had the experience and the great luck to play the final tournament not in Barcelona, but here in Lleida, and it was just spectacular. I've never experienced such a beautiful atmosphere in a futsal stadium.
I've always believed that you have to celebrate when winning a title. No matter how you celebrate it, whether you throw a party or not, you have to celebrate it with your team. You never know when you will be able to celebrate another one, so every time something comes along you have to enjoy it.
Fernandão, forward
The dream of reaching the final and the dream of lifting the trophy; I think it was that. It's a moment when you have to have to concentrate because you have worked hard to get that far. I think we have to continue working the same way so that when the moment comes, you don't do anything different. It's pretty simple; go in and do what you do best.
None of us will ever be able to forget what happened that day: hugging the trophy and not wanting to let go.
Sergio Lozano, forward
I think we all have beautiful memories about winning the last final tournament. We had a super solid, united team. We worked hard until the end, and the fans gave it their all; they were spectacular.
